Cheers evo, Yeah im happy with the outcome and doing rev3 before I wanted to try lexus on this one.

I know there not everyones taste but imo it works on these colour schemes!

Cheers for the replys, Im not clued up at all on suspension, breaks etc so id send it to my local garage! what would i expect to pay for fitting?

and how much are top mounts? if its all silly money I wont bother

Lowering Springs advice needed

Im thinking about dropping my rev2 NA about 25mm-30mm What would people recommend for this? im tempted to go apex! no body kit fitted and I currently have 17s on 7JJ width 40 profile all round. Am I likely to cause problems? Will the standard shocks take the springs? Coilovers just wont be happening...

the lexus lights arent for me either tbh but this is my second mr2 and im not doing one mod the same as my last. I wanted to go down a different route this time. Im happy with how they turned out mind, better with the carbon panel too. its a rev2 as highway said, i intended to do the sills etc but s...

Finally got round to getting pics sorted of my MR2, had it for about a month. tinted, new alloys, crystal clears, lexus lights, carbon fibre panel and reverse lights. still loads of plans as always! The JDM sticker is going btw, its covering a slight imperfection in the tint! :evil: http://i108.phot...

there spot on to be honest and defo do the job. how long therell last time will tell.

i think the the vertical lines of the veilside bumper will work well. i had one on my last 2 so i know what you mean.

yeah get some progress pics up! im still waiting to get a night shot of mine!

Well i finally got round to fitting the reverse units.

happy with results. the lights were £6 from hong kong (ebay)
and are 6 super bright white LEDs

Pic Attached below.

Will post a pic up at night later on

its the bottom part im struggling to fasten down.

i drilled 2 small holes and fitted a bracket on that fastens to the top of the lights

the bottom however aint working.

the guy who sells them said silicone it on, which doesnt hold

itll look well smart if all works out ok.
Dont you have a fog in the light units though?

I fit my lexus lights and a smooth panel this weekend so im just waiting for my reverse lights to turn up!

I will post on here how it goes and a pic of where i mounted them

I do like the spoilerless look I've considered it myself but it needs the right kit.

What skirts and rear bumper are they?

I've never been a fan of rev1,2 lights. I can't wait to take mine off. I feel there very dated!

Why ditch the lexus? Cause there lexus?
They fit in with the cars theme far better than any other light unit!

Unless you follow everyone else? Then ditch the lexus!

sounds good mate, exactly what il be doing myself although my fog is already sorted in the light unit.

I must remember to silicone the unit up!
