[Mk2] [NA] Fitted few new toys finally!

Post by mrRobbo2 »

Finally got round to getting pics sorted of my MR2, had it for about a month.

tinted, new alloys, crystal clears, lexus lights, carbon fibre panel and reverse lights.

still loads of plans as always!

The JDM sticker is going btw, its covering a slight imperfection in the tint!

Looking good though the lights aren't for me. Get the sills and splitters body coloured and it'll look even better...
Good work though fella.

I can see it's a L reg but i thought L reg was start of the rev 3 and i thought rev 3 had same colour sills and front lip as the colour of the car. I must be wrong

You're right about the rev3 colours but wrong about the reg... that's a rev2.

the lexus lights arent for me either tbh but this is my second mr2 and im not doing one mod the same as my last. I wanted to go down a different route this time.

Im happy with how they turned out mind, better with the carbon panel too.

its a rev2 as highway said, i intended to do the sills etc but stopped when i painted the stripe down the middle. I still might yet

i seen those seats too, not sure all the black marks would come out?

Cheers for the comments guys

both rev2 and rev3 can be L reg, depends on the month, earlier is rev2(the last of them) and later is rev3(the first of them) :thumleft: :thumleft:

Looking good, the black and the yellow go really well :thumleft:

Keep the lights, I think they look good but I know there are a lot of people on here that don't like them - Not sure why as I don't think they are too chav if you get the black ones like on yours - Each to their own I guess!

Looks clean and tidy mate, lights aren't to my taste, but it's your car and only your taste counts. We're all different :thumleft:

I think the lexus rear lights look OK. They look no worse in the pics than rev 3 rear clusters with a rev 2 spoiler in my oppinion -deffo better, the yellow passes it off very well. I'd colour code the centre panel black but that's me.

Otherwise looks a clean and tidy car :thumleft:
