Re: [Mk2] [Generic] rev 1 - rev3 caliper sliders

Hi guys, got the same problem with my Rev1 Turbo with Rev2 brakes. A rear one on the driver's side is stuck. Unfortunately I can't order replacement parts at twosrus for it seems as if they don't sell overseas.. Do you have any other sources than Toyota? I only need one side and therefore don't want...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Size of spigot rings needed (for SSR Integral 16" alloys)

so I did - I had a Paypal voucher and so it only cost me 2 pds. I ordered 74,1 mm and it worked :thumleft: Blimey, I'm happy with the wheels. First I was afraid that the rear spacers (+25mm) wouldn't fit but it looks OK: http://i43.tinypic.com/24c6qf7.jpg Maybe I'll give 20mm spacers a try but that ...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Size of spigot rings needed (for SSR Integral 16" alloys)

I also thought about 73,1mm.. Does that mean I can use them instead of 73,8mm or could I even use 74,1 mm? These are the available sizes. 73,8 is only available for some American wheels with even bigger diameters.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Size of spigot rings needed (for SSR Integral 16" alloys)

Thanks for the advice mate but we only have some trade chains around here which can only supply standard parts for standard wheels.

At least I did it by myself now.. it's 73,8 mm - THAT'll be hard to find for Toyota's 60,1.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] US clear indicators??

Hey mate, The USDM front indicators were only available in amber. Every white one is an imported european part. (I'm talking about the Toyota parts, not the crystal clear indicators ;) I have the USDM front indicators and I can tell you that there's almost no difference in the illumination level but...

[Mk2] [Generic] Size of spigot rings needed (for SSR Integral 16" alloys)

Hi guys,

can someone tell me the correct size of the centre rings / spigot rings needed for my forged SSR (SpeedStar) Integral A2 alloys?

It's about these alloys:

16x7 front and 16x8 rear.

Thanks a lot!

problem with ssr integral alloys -> bolt holes too tight

Hey guys, I hope anyone can help me solving my problem. A friend gave me his old alloys, a set of 16" SSR Integral (16x7 and 16x8). The problem is that they have a very tight bolt hole.. I cannot fit my wheelnuts. I checked that back at ebay's but there are only the "slimline" wheelnu...

do you mean this one?

Could possibly work but am I too daft to calculate? I can only find HKS silencers in 96 and 120mm. 3" are 76,2 mm.. So where's the mistake?

[Mk2] [Turbo] issue finding silencer for 3" kakimoto exhaust

First of all, sorry for cross posting, but it seems as if there's not that flow in the "items wanted" category ;) So, here's the issue: does anybody know where I can get a 3" silencer which is short enough to fit this exhaust bung? The problem with most of the silencers is that they'r...

Re: Does anybody run Magnecor KV85 on a Rev1 turbo?

I just swapped the cables, 4 to 3 and as expected it fits (better than the other lead). There's still a small gap, but now I can assume that it's just bad quality. Furthermore I had to discover that due to the water inleakage the Magnecor lead bushing is rusty as - how exceeding - the silicone is cr...

Re: Does anybody run Magnecor KV85 on a Rev1 turbo?

Both of them 'click' straight on the plug - and curiously they both work fine. I replaced them when one of my stock leads cracked. Since then the engine runs fine and smooth. Do you know if there's any difference in the N/A leads and the tubby leads? For I bought this set from a N/A owner who used t...

Does anybody run Magnecor KV85 on a Rev1 turbo?

Hey there, I recently changed my original Rev1 leads (red) to Magnecor KV85. So far no problems, but as I spotted lead no 2 and 3 (the one under the throttle body and the one left of it) doesn't fit properly into the valve cover, there's a gap of approx. 1 mm between the silicone and the cover. pics...
