[Mk2] [Generic] Size of spigot rings needed (for SSR Integral 16" alloys)

Post by burn »

Hi guys,

can someone tell me the correct size of the centre rings / spigot rings needed for my forged SSR (SpeedStar) Integral A2 alloys?

It's about these alloys:

16x7 front and 16x8 rear.

Thanks a lot!

not sure on the sizes but take an alloy to any alloy wheel shop and they will find you one off the shelf that fits - then sell you 4 lol

Thanks for the advice mate but we only have some trade chains around here which can only supply standard parts for standard wheels.

At least I did it by myself now.. it's 73,8 mm - THAT'll be hard to find for Toyota's 60,1.

I also thought about 73,1mm.. Does that mean I can use them instead of 73,8mm or could I even use 74,1 mm? These are the available sizes. 73,8 is only available for some American wheels with even bigger diameters.

in theory using a bigger one and just sanding a fine layer off would bring it down to the right size but for .3 of a mm I would guess just banging the bigger one into the wheel would work. They are cheap enough to throw away if they don't suit :)

so I did - I had a Paypal voucher and so it only cost me 2 pds.
I ordered 74,1 mm and it worked :thumleft: Blimey, I'm happy with the wheels. First I was afraid that the rear spacers (+25mm) wouldn't fit but it looks OK:

Maybe I'll give 20mm spacers a try but that means longer bolts

Thanks for the advice! :-k
