I have had a dust cap with a 5mm hole fitted for two years with no problems all it has done is lowered my cold start revs by 700 rpm it used to rev at 2000 from cold now revs at 1300 saving me quite a lot of fuel as it is my daily runner

Good time for clutch slave sylinders mine went right out side my house how lucky is that ? got a new one from TCB parts in cornwall fitted and bled in 1.1/2 hours jobs a goodun cheers phil :thumleft:

Hi had this problem with mine turned out to be the distributor cap not sealing changing cap sorted it :thumleft:

looks good seems ok underneith got a bit of a oil leak on the sump noticed all the gromets are out underneith and i still want your white front bumper cheers phil. :pray:

HELP ! please i have taken the pipes of the T-VIS vacuum tank & cant remember what pipes go where on the tank #-o has any one got a photo or can take one or explaine what goes where cheers phil. :pray:

Hi guys well found the knock as bazz said t-vis butterfly valves i put the car on the ramps got the engine to running temp heard the knock put my hand on t-vis actuator could feel a knock . put my finger on butterfly joints where the two rods meet the actuator and the knocking stopped removed my fin...

well chaps thrashed it to work this morning could hear a slight difference at 5000 rpm but what it did tell me was the exhaust is a bit rattely .any way took a long lunch ripped off the inlet manifold the butterflies were a bit stiff so freed them up put it all back together and took it for a spin y...

thanks chaps will take it through 5000rpm on the way to work in the morning the roads aer clear at 6 oclock O:) will let you know if i notice any thing :thumleft:

I have got good vacum at the actuator do they seize up is there any mantainance that can be done with out removing the manifold or is that the only way?

Hi every one first time i have posted on this forum. my question is how much kick should you get when the tivs kicks in my 1988 white tbar goes great but when i get to 4000-5000 rpm no noticable kick .i had a pug 309gti with an mi16 engine before the mr2 and at 4000 rpm it used to put you back in yo...
