Yes mate ... Thats virtually flush.

The key is to go with a 40 profile.. If you go with a 45 you may/could get rubbing.

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] fitting recaros using existing rails/subframe

So theres 6 bolts in the recaro seats. I think I need to make up steel bars that will bolt into them, then weld them to my existing seats. Would it be worthwile doing mock up frames from wood? I dont know the easiest way to approach this. Bolt your runners in place. Measure where the bolt holes are...

[Mk2] [Generic] Radio displays "HELP"......Errr Help

Car has been off road for a while due to 'various issues' Just re-connected the battery & now my stock (13704) radio is just showing 'HELP'. I have the security code but need to get the radio from 'HELP' mode to the 'Security' mode to allow me to input the security code.. Any Ideas..?

How often did you check tyre pressures ,could be a simple as that. I'd imagine an under inflated tyre and exesive cornering would cause the wear you describe

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Extended Wheel Studs

I had the same problem when changing mine. I found they were just too tight & didn't want to risk stripping threads, damaging nuts or having them not pulled up flush so filed the splines down slightly, did the trick. :thumleft:
