hi mate.

depending on what size spacers you require will depend upon whether you need longer studs.
i'd try jamie @ Jap Spec Performance first mate, as he does very good spacers, in lot's of sizes, and he's always the cheapest for everything else.

Will,
G-Force in middlesbrough do spacers. £6 per spacer.... i've got some 6mm spacers on at the minute. they don't do any bigger.

Do yours sit that far in the arch to warrant 15/20mm :) ?

To be fair i dont really know, when i look at them i think they could stick out about 15-20mm further but really would need someone who knows more than me to have a look :-k

Measure the gap between the tyre and the lip on your arch with a piece of wood & hey presto thats the spacer size you'll require, or a little less to be sure you clear the arch.

Are these spacers hub centric. At that price i doubt it.

Does your wheel still sit on the hub lip to allow you to centre the wheel and the studs are not taking all the weight of the car..??

Hi Will,

These are my 25mm hubcentrics

Image

Had them specially made and cost about £80 in all, although if money was no object I'd get another set and change down to a 20mm set. When I measured the distance to line them up I thought I'd need 30mm but erred on the side of caution fortunately.

Haven't got any great B4 and after....but

The cars SORNED at the mo, but you're welcome to pop over and try the spacers on yours to help get the right size.

Heres a pic after I fitted some Lexus IS200 wheels - notice how they sit too far inside arches

Image

So I placed apiece of wood right across the face of the wheel and measured the distance to inside of wheel arch lip

Image

Using that measurement I could buy some 25mm hubcentric spacers from wheelsuk

Hi Matty,

Thanks, Having a bodywork master doing it with/for me helped.

I got it 2nd hand for £100 from a guy who never fitted it, pretty sure it's a Stylin FX one. Fitting wasn't too bad although it bows out slightly on the drivers side (mm only), I've had to file down the top and bottom edges of the front sidelights/reflectors to get them to fit and spent quite a bit of time on the top making sure it lines up perfectly with the bonnet and lights. Quite a bit of flatting back and filling, That purple one on the best colour thread has a shocking fit/gap there so I'm really glad we spent the extra time.

No way the original fogs would fit though, so I flogged em and I've gone for a set of these.

Looks evil with these in

Sorry it wasn't from a shop that's still going.

Hi Jeff,

Exactly what I did, mine measured out at 30mm, but glad I went for a 25mm. Wish I could have tried someone elses so I could get it exactly right as the bottom of my kit sticks out further than the arch and made it harder to line up where I wanted the edge to be.
