[Mk2] [Generic] Radio displays "HELP"......Errr Help

Car has been off road for a while due to 'various issues'

Just re-connected the battery & now my stock (13704) radio is just showing 'HELP'.

I have the security code but need to get the radio from 'HELP' mode to the 'Security' mode to allow me to input the security code.. Any Ideas..?

Hi i randomly had the owners manual out as insurance is coming up so dug up the books. on page 74, it is talking about different messages that will appear.

NOTICE: A tenth error will activate the anti-theft system, and "HELP" will appearon the display. The Audio sytem will be completely inoperable. At this time the indicator light also comes on. If this occurs, contact your Toyota dealer."

Thanks for that mate... I've read that in my manual... Believe it or not Toyota can't help due to the ICE in the car being over 10 years old...


However after 'much' searching & 'investigative' work.. I found a procudure & unblocked/unlocked it.
