Well my thinking is that i'm now gonna be doing more miles and i get about 13mpg from the tubby. Plus if i do look to change again the 172 would prob be an easyer car to shift on. Yeah I've seen that myself but thought it to be rather slow. The new Renault Megane can do it in 8:17 so i would expect a tubby to get fairly close to that.

Fancy getting rid of my broken border bumper and going for a stock bumper with an AEROWARE lip on it.

This may seem like a dumb question but i see there are front ends with and without fog lights. Are they the same bumper or dose one have hole for the fogs.
