Definitely not an MR2

In Westy news:

- Had a few anomalies related to water temps, turned out to be the rad cap wasn't operating properly.

Took it off, cleaned off all the gunk

(allowing a proper seal) and eased the spring back into life.

Tested and temps are spot on

- Did a final fettle with the idle rev adjustment, as I'd noticed it dipped to around 600 after you blipped the throttle.

Now turned up a little it idles nicely at 900 revs and doesn't drop way low after a throttle blip.

Another

- The choke wasn't disengaging properly after I was releasing it.

Cleaned and lubricated the mechanism, it now snaps back exactly as it should.

I also adjusted the choke cable, to ensure it was at the right tension.

- Took it for a quick spin to test everything was working as it should and to see if adjusting the ride heights made a difference.

The car does feel a little more stable, however the ultimate solution is to take it for a day at ProComp and get the full geo work-over.

This would absolutely transform the handling, as demonstrated in a certain other car I went out in the other day

All in all it's another small evolution of the car.

I actually thought to myself that it's to a point when I'm comfortable with it, just as it's time to move on.

Isn't that always the way.
