Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Rev 5 Spoilers

If you do a search through the for sale section you'll see it's more in the region of £250 -300.
Genuine REV5 wings are not that common.

Replicas should be cheaper but you lose adjustability, in most cases.

Re: Are my wheels rare,or is it an over used selling term

I have a set of these, staggered and same offsets, sitting in the garage. Apart from your set I have only ever seen one other so I'd suspect they are rare.

I 'upgraded' to 17" because of the difficulty I had getting tyres in the sizes I wanted.

Re: Need Help Identifying Your JDM Wheels - Look Here! Part#2

I have only seen one other set and they were also one piece. Mine actually have the wheel name cast into them. You can see the name at the top of the wheel in the picture.
It wouldn't surprise me if they also made a three piece version.

Re: Tyre Profiles etc.

There are a few places that list SO2's but when you call they are out of stock. Apparently, Bridgestone still do limited production runs of SO2's but you have to be lucky and be in contact with tyre suppliers at the time they are available. I have a set of 16 wheels, sitting in the garage, awaiting ...

I've got the MK2 Yaris jets. They provide a nice fan spray across the screen.

It will hit the plastic undertray.

I cut a notch into the undertray and kept the larger turbo filter.

Re: Gutting the cat should i?

It's a turbo. Doesn't need a CAT test at MOT. Gut it. Pig of a job though!!!! Wait until you have gutted the CAT and driven for a while before making any further changes. See how the car feels. If you hit fuel cut then fit an FCD. Once that's done then fit an MBC if you want(you probably will) to in...

Re: where to route pipes (cc install)

I have a ST205 pump in the space under the N/S headlight. The Cinq rad is fitted with the inlet/outlet on the N/S and the pipes, IIRC, are routed through the front "bits" and then straight up the tunnel to the rear then routed accordingly to avoid turbo etc. It's a bit of a squeeze in plac...

That appears to match this pinout diagram.

You will probably need to click on the pic to view fullscreen.

Ignore the circled pins. Just confirm the pinouts you need.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] which forged pistons/compression ratio.

If it's a daily driver I 'd go for CP pistons. Actually, I did go for CP pistons! Less thermal expansion than some others and therefore no piston rattle when cold. With the turbo you're using there is no need to consider CR other than slightly improved throttle response off-boost with a higher CR. A...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Indicator flashing quickly

Were the indicators working correctly at any time?

The only reason I know of for the circuit to flash quickly is a popped bulb or a different wattage bulb in the system or possibly a short. IIRC they should be 21W.
