Re: My Rev2 Turbo!
They already are staggered, the fronts are 7s and the rears are 8s. There's currently a huge difference in tyre sizes though, fronts are 165s and the rears are 205s. Simply because I had too much tread on these tyres to just throw away! But they'll be done soon and I can get some 195s on. If I do ne...

Re: My Rev2 Turbo!
Looks similar to what mines will look like when i get it back  Are u going to get the arches rolled as its sitting quite nice at that height but with spacers might rub? :-k If I need to roll them I will. I don't think I will though. Test fitted one on the front and I should get away with i...

My Rev2 Turbo!
Bought this last August, it's pretty rough round the edges but it was cheap! Drove it standard until the MOT ran out in November then left it sitting in my parents' garage and did a little bit of tinkering. Put it through MOT a few weeks ago just to see what it needed fixed and it flew through first...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] DROP LINK COILOVER size help
Do you need longer than standard?
I know Toyota Avensis ones fit, but I've a feeling they're shorter.

I needed two of mine made shorter and I got them cut, welded, isoponed and painted.
Look better and feel sturdier than the shorter ones I had bought!

Re: Import speedo not working
This makes sense to me - my Turbo had the silly white Lockwood dials when I bought it. Rev counter worked, fuel guage worked, but the temp sensor never budged, and the speedo never read the correct speed and kept getting stuck. My engine management light also comes on. I replaced the Lockwood dials ...

Horn doesn't work
Hi all! Been rebuilding my rev2 turbo in the garage for a few months now, and its almost ready for MOT, except for the horn which doesn't work. I have no clue about car electrics which doesn't help! When I press the horn the relay doesn't click, that's all I know. How can I troubleshoot and fix this?

Re: Cheap eBay Coilovers.
I've always had the cheap coilovers in all my cars. Haven't ever had any problems! Except on my Mk3 Golf which came to me with FK coils, they bust after about a month. Stuck cheapies in and they lasted ages. I have never tracked my cars, so never needed expensive coils. Also did a lot of quite spiri...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Instrument Dials
My Mk2 came with white Lockwood dials, and to be honest I think they're flippin horrible.
What other options do I have?
I'd like something black and subtle ideally, however I do like the plasma glow look.

If you're serious about it, there's a guy here in N.I that can put air into pretty much anything!

Love that red one, have seen it on StanceWorks before.
Not a fan of the spoiler though.
The yellow one sits great too!

Black Rev2 Turbo
Hey all, Can't post pics yet but I'll just describe the car until I can... In the summer I bought a black 92 Turbo, drove the hell out of it all summer, then took it off the road in November to have some fun with it. Currently sitting in my garage awaiting some mechanical TLC, a matt black respray, ...

Warning lights on constantly
Hello all, I'm very much a "drive it until it breaks" kind of person, and this hasn't broken yet, so I've just been ignoring it. However I would like to get it sorted before something blows up. I bought my rev2 turbo about 5 months ago, and since I bought it the engine management light com...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 2 Turbo Oil Filter location
I had a stupid moment.
Found it about 20 seconds after I posted this!

However, it's a bloody nightmare to get off!

How did everyone get theirs off? I was going to stick a screwdriver through it and pull it out
- but I got scared.

[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev 2 Turbo Oil Filter location
I'm doing an oil change on my rev2 turbo, but I can't seem to find the filter!

It isn't beside the sump, where the internet seems to say it is, so where is it? Help!

Re: Hi everyone :)
Don't want to spam with another thread, but where can I get turbo seals? My Rev2 produces a puff of smoke on each gear change when on boost, and when slowing down for lights, so I assume it's the turbo seals. I can't seem to find them anywhere! Where can I get them? And how hard/easy are they to fit...
