Worst case would be bottom end bearing? I'd limit the amount I was driving if I was honest, you could drop the oil out and get a sieve and see if any metal shards are in there. Someone with more experience will come along and correct me I'm sure!

[Mk2] [Turbo] Engine turns over but won't start
Hi as most of will know I've been doing a n/a to tubby conversion with the added confusion of using a rev1 loom to do a rev3 head and ecu conversion all at the same time. Today's instalments goes like this, I put a inline fuel filter in and checked the fuel pump was working and it was with fp and b+...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Not a pretty sight...Hose From Hell?
well if the pipe from hell has broken then it would empty on to the to the level which is a far bit of water, and would empty the water out of the system quite quickly. I checked mine by nipping around to a garage and asking to use there bore scope to explore that area as it hard to see otherwise.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev1 to rev3 ecu conversion
i thought the numbering system must of been like that, in that case it is indeed the B+ wire that is meant to be empty on my diagram but is present on the connector?
with the PAS is that a change of two pins the first from number 14 to number 4 and the other wire from number 15 to number 19?

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev1 to rev3 ecu conversion
I'm unsure of the numbering system but I'm guessing its number 13, it is the pin directly next to the FC pin on the diagram it's a blue box do should be empty, also my car no longer has A/C and being a rev one it has no traction control?
But I'm possibly wrong wirings not my strong point

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Rev1 to rev3 ecu conversion
There is no abbravation on the pin out I'm using it just only abbravates the wires concerned in the actual swap nothing else. It's on the connector that's from the kick well loom, the wire is black and well with silver spots on http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j216/st24les/rev1torev3ecupinout.jpg I...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Rev1 to rev3 ecu conversion
I have been converting my mr2 tubby from a rev1 in to a rev3 head and fueling system, i have nearly completed then whole thing except on my pin out diagram there is one pin,(on the third connector) that should be empty but has a wire in it? There is no change for pin so should i just remove it? or j...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Nitrous injection
The bit that's was doing my head in (excuse me if i go a little nerdy) For instance if the pressure inside the manifold was say 15psi once the nitrous was injected the change of state form a liquid to a gas would cause the pressure to drop due to the reduction in temperature as it was used up in the...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Nitrous injection
That sounds like and interesting way to having it working i suppose to could run a micro switch on third and fourth in parallel which connect to the the wot switch on the throttle body, throw in an arming switch as well and that the wiring all sorted out. My next question of many i'm sure is i...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Nitrous injection
Yes direct port wet system with the injectors installed in the 4 open runners. From the outlet of the fuel filter run a fuel line to a new fuel pressure regulator set to 5psi to feed the fuel solenoid. The regulator to have a boost feed. Start with 50HP and use a good octane booster in the fuel, or...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Nitrous injection
But don't use a NOS kit with a progressive controller because you will have a rather expensive door stop. :) Not if you know how to do it, it all comes down to knowledge and experience Well if your like to impart that knowledge and experience id be grateful, So would people recommend a direct port ...
