Re: PFC mapping in the south east
Not sure whether he still does them though. I have a link ecu I purchased from him. He wouldn't map it for me. Said he doesn't deal with those anymore? Hopefully he'll still do the PFC for you.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] link g3+ mapping
Ive emailed them, waiting to hear back from Antony. Its only about 1 hour from my house as well
Only other reply I have had is from Thor, but they are nearly a 4 hour drive each way.

I tried Rogue, but they don't map cars, they use Thor.

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] link g3+ mapping
I can understand he wants to sell the latest ones, but I bought this one off him years ago! I dont see why he no longer maps them, especially when his site stills shows link ecu as one he recommends. Anyway, back on topic, anyone else recommended for mapping these ecu's? Maybe if a rolling road day ...

[Mk2] [Turbo] link g3+ mapping
Can anyone recommend someone to tweak the map on my ecu. I have tried ryan of 2 bar tuning who is the one that did the map a few years ago, but he says he no longer does link ecu's?
Thanks.
Dai.

do I have to make holes?
As far as I can recall they pick up on existing holes on the chassis. Don't remember having to drill anything to fit it.

Re: Bike Rack for MR2
No, its quite straightforward to fit or remove. I sold mine on before I sold the car. I was never happy with the racks that just strap on the back of the car. Towbar ones are far more secure.

Re: Bike Rack for MR2
The Thule racks have a trailer board incorporated in them. Wiring is easy to do.

Re: Bike Rack for MR2
I had a towbar on my old na mr2. Used a Thule towball mounted rack and carried two mtb's easily. No straps on the bodywork either.

Re: Classic Car Insurance ??
So who are the best companies to try for a quote on a modified one then? The car is 24yrs old so age should be ok.
Its a second car, hasn't been out of the garage for about 3 years, decided its time to get it on the road again!

Re: Classic Car Insurance ??
Is there any sort of guidelines as to how modified the car can be on these classic type policies? For example would they cover cosmetic and mild mechanical mods, or will they cover something that's been modified substantially, ie forged build, different turbo, ecu etc etc?
