Price for clutch
How much should I be looking at to get the clutch replaced on my mk1b? I'll get the clutch so just after labour costs, 3-4 hours maybe?

Re: Brake problems
Handbrake is ok, works fine to stop it rolling down hills etc but wouldn't lock the wheels say if you wanted to do a handbrake turn.

Re: Brake problems
Checked rear pads and theyre got plenty of life left, brake fluid could do with a little top up but it's not below the min line... I noticed on one of the rear discs only half the pad is being used.. Think I'll take the calipers off give them a clean and grease and top up the fluid and give all 4 ca...

Brake problems
Right I seem to be having some problems with my brakes, first one is when I'm hard on the brakes the brake light comes on the dash and then it will stay on for awhile... I can also hear squeaking when breaking from the rear calipers... And also I find the breaks lock up too easy, my setup is standar...

Re: Rear shocks gone
Okay I'll see if the standard springs are in good enough condition then! One thing I'm confused about, obvisously the shock has failed cos it's bouncing everywhere! But it's also rattling and banging, when the car is on the floor when I shake the wheel the whole shock is moving from side to side and...

Re: Rear shocks gone
Would it be ok to fit the konis with lowering springs on the rear with standard on the front?? Ovisiously the rear would sit lower than the front but would it done anything bad to the handling?? Also does anyone know Spec I tighten the 19mm strut bolt to?? No I didn't get that one, I ended up with a...

Crashed mr2's
Well recently i had quite a bad crash in my mr2, hit another car almost head on about 70 and I'm very surprised how well the car held up! The front was completely caved in but all the cockpit was untouched and I came out uninjured which I and alot of others were surprised at! Just wondering if anyon...
