Anyone got a Catalytic converter lying around their garage after fitting a de-cat pipe? I am looking for one to get me back on the road, preferably a rev 3 but would consider anything if the price was right.
Thanks

Re: More emission problems
Thanks for the reply
It is a 95 UK N/A
It had a new cat and lambda this time last year
It is OK on normal idle but is failing on fast idle CO 0.6% Lambda 1.2%

More emission problems
Put in cat cleaner new plugs and an oil change, caned it for 250 miles took it into the shop hot and it still failed on emissions. Mechanic said it is missing and unburnt fuel in the exhaust is causing the failure, he said it is probably a sensor not working, anyone got an idea where to start lookin...

Would love to but by the time I pay the fuel and test I'd be as cheap buying a new cat.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Locking wheel nut key sheared
Should have taken a nut off before I said it was a stud, I know I have had studs on a car at some time,

[Mk2] [NA] Locking wheel nut key sheared
Just failed my MOT on a few things, then to top it all I had to use a strong back to slacken off my wheel nuts, cracked the normal nuts no problem but when it came to the locking nut the key/adapter sheared, I now have 4 wheels stuck on the car and brake work to do. Anyone know how to get the lockin...

I have been trying to get into my speedo to replace bulbs, but am having trouble getting the plastic surrounds off, unscrew and unclip OK but they just don't want to come out.
Any help would be appreciated.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] 95 rev UK NA warning lights
Thanks for the post but it is a different problem, I have done about 500 miles since the 1st post and the lights are still on but levels and battery are fine, the car would be dead now if the indications were true.
Disconnected the battery today in the hope of a reset but it didn't happen.

[Mk2] [NA] 95 rev UK NA warning lights
For the past couple of months my warning lights have been flickering on and off, but now they are on all the time. The car is running great, the lights that are on are oil and brake fluid levels, engine fan and battery all of which are OK. Anyone point me in the right direction before I start poking...

Re: [Mk2] [NA] Rev 3 NA lambda sensor
How much did Arnold charge you?
Gtschris always has a 2nd hand one for sale but don't know if it is worth the bother fitting a used one.

Re: [Mk2] [NA] 120 amp fuse removal
No problems, got one from MrT and fitted it in 5 minutes on Saturday.
Took longer for the alternator to come, fitted that yesterday and everything is back to normal.
Will teach me to disconnect the battery next time I work on the alternator.
