I've never had any issues using tap water with concentrate, but using a bit of deteregent sounds like a good idea. These days I use the ready mixed stuff as its easier. When you buy the concentrate from Halfords get one of those hydrometers as well just to check the ratio of water/concentrate is ok....

You should be reading about 13v+ when the engine is running and the alternator is charging the battery, if it isn't there could be a problem with it (check wiring, belts etc before shelling out on a new alternator.)

The twincharger is still based on the 4A-G(Z)E block as far as I know, although they have mentioned the other 4A-GE variants From looking elswhere on the forum, I would imagine the twincharger option is probably more expensive motor by far!!
