Interesting article. I too have been looking for a good 2 dinn unit and have found Eonon stock 3 different models with iPhone style scroll navigation and 3d icons etc. https://www.eonon.com/Car-GPS-Navigations/2-Din-Car-GPS-DVD.html Plus they are on Facebook with a good size community, but i have re...

hiya,

Any update on the aerial, I've got a similar problem where it is stuck up and won't retract.

Looking at buying a new one, but can't remove the current one

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] Standard brake disc and pads Vs. updgraded kit
I've read that drilled discs can be prone to cracking between the holes and that grooves cause accelerated wear. I don't think that discs can improve braking significantly as they're all just big chunks of metal, if you want better braking then aftermarket pads are your best bet, ebc or carbotech e...

[Mk2] [Generic] Standard brake disc and pads Vs. updgraded kit
I need to replace my front discs and pads, but not sure whether to get: Standard disc Drilled disc Grooved disc Drilled & grooved disc again the same question on standard pads etc. I currently have standard discs and pads on my 93 turbo and have had drilled and grooved dics on a 90 NA a few year...

Re: [Mk2] [Generic] HELP!! Power steering stopped working!
It was Steve who had the problem, not me! Although ironically, a few weeks after I had the problem lol. With the battery connected as normal, just turn the ignition switch to ACC and back off again about 10-15-20 times quickly. You don't need to go mental otherwise you risk breaking the key, just d...

Good stuff, glad it's sorted :thumleft: Hi Slarty, I've just had the same problem this mornin when the PS stopped working. How exactly did you fix your motor? Is it simply a case of turning on and off the iginition or do you have to disconnect the battery first etc. Sorry to ask such a stupid quest...

[Mk2] [Turbo] Power Steering not working
Hiya, Just got in my car today and the power steering did not work. Have a 93 turbo, had it for over a year with no PS proplems. I know that it is connected to my anti-theft system, so not sure if it is the PS or the security. When it normally works, you can hear the PS motor as soon as you turn the...

Hi Shmed,

Seems like you have a quailty set of products set up there.

Which track day event are you entering?

Also are you running on stock HT leads and spark plugs?
