Re: Cant get the decals off my car!
Hi Mate,
When I removed the Le-Mans stickers from my car I had a little glue/gum line left around where they had expanded and contracted, I was advised by the sticker company to use methelated spirit (specifically not white spirit) to remove it.
Worked a treat
Regards
PaulM

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] taking throttle body apart?
Hi Jim, When I used to paint up remote control car bodies, I used to use a type of mask that you could paint on, it would set like rubber (sort of like copydex glue(sp?) and you could just peel it off once the paint was dry. You can get it from most model shops and places where they sell humbrol ena...

I also wanna try some industrial and night shots of mine too, it will just take a little bit of setting up on a 35mm...

Re: Me + Camera + Slow Saturday
cheers for the good comments people
The road is the driveway up to Stow school (where 12henny lives )and is very deceptive. the main part acually bends off to the right about a third of the way down the bottom two thirds is long and straight though

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Removed aircon car won't start
Dave, got a SIGMA thing on mine. Its uber sensitive and suffers from temperature drops as well. As its a T-bar this doesn't help. It could be as the vehicle cools overnight from the heat that the alarm triggers. Am looking at trying to reduce the sensitivity of mine now. Oh right that make alot of ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Removed aircon car won't start
So what was gained from this.. : 1. when checking fuses make sure you take the fuse out to check it rather than just look at it from the top 2. When you ask someone if they have checked the fuses, ignore what they say and go check yourself ! 3. Draven does make a nice cup of tea though Regards Paul...

Although red is not my colour I am liking this a lot. Its looking like it might be quite tasty car once the engine is complete One question though how did you manage to put the front strut brace in the images below over the standard one? http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u97/whoozy_2007/HPIM0109.jp...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] My problem with the thumping.
Highly possible mate, I had to buy a new one (all three sections ) for the MOT and it was something like £120 for all three bits,
Then the buggers only fitted the two bottom sections

Hi Mate,
I think that the Triangular bit that you have shown in the turbo pics is also from the N/A I will have a look under my lid at lunch time and double check, other than that I think you've got the other bits for the NA correct
