have a problem, the car will be running fine and then the temp will hit the red, and stay there for a bit but then will just full back to normal, but it will be a sudden drop, is this the thermostat ???? and if so how hard is it to change ??

I just bought grooved discs and yellow stuff pads all round for mine, got the pads from camskill, (very helpful) the pads for mine are dp4936r & dp41107r, my car is a 1990 dont no if they are the same ??
I just bought a set of grooved disc's and yellow stuff pads all round they are being fitted tomorrow and i am doing a track day Saturday so will let you know how i get on
Seem it at the moment, my Cousin uses them to build his race engines for him, and they build a lot of pinto's and mk1 & 2 golfs, they have done a couple of Mr2's, just got to see how mine turns out ?
