Santa is bringing me standard front discs and yellowstuff front pads, i will buy the rear pads to match in the new year and also have the system bled! (hopefully some braided brakelines as well!) Cheers again everyone

problem i've had with grooved discs is that they can give a pulsing feel through the pedal as if they are warped.

The drilled discs can crack but that is more down to poor quality discs. Enough Porsches, Mercedes, Ferrari's etc have drilled discs.

On my Alfa i have OMP dimpled discs with alternate grooves that only go half way over the disc. One groove goes from inside disc face to halfway, next goes midway to outside. Seems to work vey well.

My drag car uses standard aftermarket plain discs with carbotech pads. So if they work on the drag strip and braking from 170 mph at TOTB I think they would work fine on the road.

^^^^ Agree'd!! Am fitting standard discs and yellowstuff pads on thursday, thanks again for the help guys!
