that it awwwwesome well done to you on completing such a excellent car. Didn't know nobody had completed one of these. i use to be well into the kit car scene and miss it but it got expensive going to the shows with a family in tow lol.

who would have thought it would be so hard to pick 1 of 3 items lol. aem uego with 4.9 aem failsafe with 4.2 innovate mtx-l with 4.2 Ain.t sure if i am understanding the air calibration part correctly, is it because as the sensor degrades it will not be reading correctly so the controller resets its...

Sorry ,should of stated map sensor along with ait sensor and mounting kits etc adds up to quite abit, plus shipping from states and possible sting with duty etc.

Re: wideband kit experiences, what have you?
Techedge + Bosch LSU 4.9 = the dogs jewels! have seen this put trying to keep it simple. I'm going to be installing an AEM UEGO in my own car soon - I can't really give feedback on it yet, but I've only heard good things about them so far. :D which one did you get, normal or failsafe? been reading a...

Re: wideband kit experiences, what have you?
good to hear you have had no issues. I was swaying more towards the innovate but then saw the new aem with integrated boost gauge. didn't really want that to be a factor but do like the idea of having less gauges in the cockpit.
i like the pocket logger you can get for the innovate aswell.

I will be getting one soon and just wondered what peoples experience was with them in regards to quality, reliability etc. was looking at aem, innovate and plx devices. people had commented on plx having bad customer service so i emailed them a couple of times over a period of 1 month and never had a...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Gen2 to Gen3 sensors & AFM delete.
I keep reading this hks vpc thingy. If I can get hold of one is it easy to fit and tune. I bought one ages ago but still in bed drawer as once i added the price of chip, ait and map £100+, thought stuff it and decided to go rev3. if you can get vehicle specific thats a different story but the don't ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] Gen2 to Gen3 sensors & AFM delete.
You will need to make a plate to fit the mat sensor if using original. I ordered one off gts chris but got refunded as he only sells complete kit now with a gm sensor and the original sensor as a different pitch so can not use it. Don't think the specs for the gm are same as original but if you are ...

Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] new and old wheels
Ditch the daft, chavvy stretched look, reduce the spacers by 15mm and they'll look bang on. Properly fitted, they'll look really good. Agreed, I only put the spacers on to work out what would probably work then removed them, I ordered some 10mm last night as like you said, after looking at the pics...

Re: [All] [Generic] external fuel pump
do not take the engine out from top in small spaces. Use the crane/ lift whatever to drop engine on a board. I used some kitchen worktop with a couple of chopped up broom handle to use as rollers alla egyptian style. Have used this method everytime i drop an engine and always works with no bother. o...

Re: Xbox One
In either the most recent update, or the one due next month, you can plug in a USB external HDD, and the Xbox will combine the storage essentially. If you get a decent USB3 HDD you won't notice any speed difference either. Cheers for that, show how out of touch I am now, last time I checked there wa...
