hi mate

,
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
they have there own bit of coolant and is totally seperate to the rad.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
i have put a mixture of 70% water and 30% coolant
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
,
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
as for the level
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
, its always good to have a look at it whilst the pump is going
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
, so when the ignition is on
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
( ie the pump working
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
) under the car
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
, dont worry
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
, there is very little pressure in there and wont come out
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
, and then you can see what level it is at
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
, just top it up if needs be to the top of the tank
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
as for the display
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
, the temp gauge is fed through the black pipe going into the overflow on the tank
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
, and it is a 5volt sensor
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
( its a pc one
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
) so i had to convert it from 12v to 5v
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
but i had a look/search round and never got to the bottom of it
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
, seems like a power serge knocks it off.
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
hope this all helps
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
, look after the 2
![](./images/smilies/spacer.gif)
, she was/is a real class car
