What is it with meets on here at the moment, are they xxxxxx cursed or something? Stacked my car on the M1 :( in the middle of a 3 car shunt. My airwalker rear bumper is toast and my boot is dented :( :(

Difficult to tell, it's dark. Boot's dented I think. My fibreglass airwalker rear bumper's toast, front wing's toast. Haven't checked for wheel damage but something's rubbing.

Edit: at least 1 exhaust mount is bent too.

John,

Oh My God!! It was you?, sorry to hear, flashing up delays and thought I caught a glimpse of you just getting back in your car, but Tony was in the fast lane!!! and couldn't stop.
Hope you are ok tho, and car not too badly damaged, repairable? especially after the conversation we had over the weekend.

Take care and hope to see you soon.

Fingers crossed, I'm just gonna try and forget about it for now and sort it out tomorrow. I pulled into watford gap services afterwards and saw tony's car in there but you drove off before I'd wandered over.

These things happen, I'll just let the insurance people sort it out.

Thanks to EVERYONE for such a great weekend! What a laugh and a stunning run. I think we may have to aim at a pheasant next time and we could then have a BBQ to finish!!

Thanks to Reema, Michael and Dan for organising it!

Shame to hear about your car, John. Bloody M1! Its such a shame! Good luck with the insurance claim!

I haven't got many pictures... but I'll HOPEFULLY figure out how to upload them on here... I'm pretty sure I have a few saucy pictures of Jinxy and Steve dancing...

OMG - John... really gutted to hear what's happened! :(
It was a beautiful bumper, and of course any impact into metalwork just makes it much worse... Really feel for you... (had a good gaze over it on Sunday morning in between loading up our car)

I really hope meets are not cursed... :( If they are, at least they're not getting worse! lol

I have to echo the thanks - it was a great weekend! Thanks to all!
Matlock run was tops, even if we were on our own!

The Stevey Shuffle was great, and maybe contagious?

Sash - your car is now washed and wrapped up (as you'd see if you ever looked out your window... ;) )

3 washes in 3 days...

Well what can I say, except had a FANTASTIC weekend, words can't really describe it, you just had to be there \:D/
Great to see everyone again

Roll on the next one!!!

On a serious note, hadn't heard from "J" all today and thought, Oops must have been bad yesterday  , but turns out he is not very well!! Chucking his guts up apparently, so did the sympathy via text, then when I got home went on Facebook, and low and behold Celina not well "has a tummy bug", so thought I'd better warn you or put the word out, anyone else ill??? :pale:

Hope to see you all again soon

Love to all and MERRY CHRISTMAS & A HAPPY NEW YEAR to one and all
