[Mk2] [Turbo] Boost problem

Hi have a boost problem.When car heats up it still boosts the same as when cold and idles about 1000-1100rpm. If you let the car idle for a minute or two the car will then boost full. Any ideas wat could be wrong?

what's the coolant temp guage doing when you are having this issue?

Could be faulty ECU water temp sensor, which is separate to your temp gauge sensor.

Do you know the part number for this? I'm having problems with cold starting atm and I want to replace this to see if it fixes the problem. rev2 motor

The temp gauge is half way when having the problem.

Will try the water temp sensor first and see what way it goes.

Have a look on camskill, they are pretty cheap.

If you go to your local motor factors and give the this quinton hazell no this is what you need XEMS37 its about 8.00 +vat.

Hey just info purposes as im going to be replacing some of my sensors soon, where is the water temp sensor located?
