apparently.. the block.. or is it the pistons can take up to 600BHP. (pete will correct me if im wrong)

therfore i have an EXCELLENT base to get more power if i needed it...

but being honest.. 325 is sufficient and makes the internals bullet proof at this level of power.

As long as it is tuned well. If its badly tuned it wont last long no matter what its made of.

CP pistons

Post by toyokid »

Hi

I was thinking CP pistons were a good option.......before I found that I needed 2 re-bores to get round pots, 86.5mm

Then CP pistons were not big enough to fill them.

Luckily YVS, my engine builder took them off my hands and GTS Chris was happy to supply some more.

SHE LIVES!!!!

fire up day has proven successful engine mileage 000000.0001 :D

These pistons are fine so long as the bore had been correctly bored ;)

but I leave that in the capable hands of SBITS

:)

WELL DONE CHAPS..

right im off to bed as im still feeling like carp...

Sounds like you initially bought 86.25mm pistons...

It'll take longer than a couple of hundred miles to bed the rings in.
