What a funny question! Thought my name would kind of give it away.

Female.

I don't understand what that has to do with the subject?

Ahh i see, because i'm female I can't help to understand the difference between telling the truth and stating an outright lie?

Is that it?

Or is that it would not be possible for my puny female brain to understand the difference between hearsay and fact?

Your comments and comments made about me by others. Its abuse, its extremely offensive. I don't have any of that crap in my everyday life, I refuse to put up with it on here.

Come to JAE and I will talk to you and then you may understand why. :+:

My comment was very toungue in cheek, hence the smileys. I didnt see any others.

I was planning on jae again untill they moved it to the south coast, bit too far for me now.

I find it strange how your so ashamed/protective over it though, considering your comments in the OT thread, or was it because that would have shown ur bias in the debate :thumleft:

Anyway wrong place/thread for discussion :thumleft:

On the standard gearbox I cannot see any MR2 reaching 200mph.

Maybe with some work on the gearing, such as with a longer drive, but until someone puts the evidence in front of me about 200mph I have to disbelieve it.

As for Xxxx, whether or not it is him, I would still demand proof as to the 200mph. The claim is easy to make, but without evidence, its all just hearsay.

Your comment may have been tongue in cheek to you (actually my reference was more to what Alan said), but its still very offensive to me.

I'm honestly not ashamed of anything, but there is a time and a place to discuss such things and I don't believe that this is it.

I really think you should come to JAE. I'm driving down from Manchester. :+:

Anyway this will be my last comment about it as its not relevant to the thread. If you have any questions please PM me.

If you can get 163mph @ 7250rpm... guess what you can get 8900?

Over 10 miles, or at Bruntingthorpe?

Surprised that no comments have been made about how this speed was recorded. Stock speedo is likely to be a mile out, not to mention only reading up to 180, unless there is the TRD face in there, but with that the needle is likely to have been off. Needs to be GPS or Laser confirmed for me.

Also, there was a lot of work carried out by a few members here and on the US OC, and with the taller final drive, and a normal/average tyre size, the top speed for 8500 redline was between 206 & 208 mph IIRC.
