7/8 will require more pedal travel to move the same amount of brake fluid as a 15/16.
Just done some quick sums, and if it takes .5" on your current MC to work the brakes to a set level, on a 15/16 it would take 0.42", so its about 18% difference. That may not feel like much, but when its piston travel, and not pedal travel, it might feel quite a lot different.
On the other side to this, it could give you a more progressive pedal, which personally I prefer.
Your call.
No idea I'm affraid. They can vary massively. You might get some that are in need of a refirb, or you could get some that have just been refirbed. I'm sure there will be some flaoting round the for sale section or ebay.
watching a few sets on ebay but they include discs and pads. But id rather stick new discs and pads in.

Old and new
And fitted with the wheel on
Will do the rears next week
so if i read up correctly about the MC, i can install the full rev3 conversion and leave the old rev1 MC on till i find a good price rev3 one, whithout braking issues?
The MC do not control the force of braking but it is the ABS which automatically controls the force of braking of each wheel. The pressure is controlled i.e. that it decreases again when the point of blocking is close
I have make the upgrade Rev1 brakes - > Rev2++ on my turbo and I did not change the MC.
