Re: orange battery light on dash mr2 turbo rev1
er, that your battery voltage is too low?

Have you got a multimeter?
If so measure the voltage across the terminals and report back.

I assume the voltage goes up to 13.5-14volts when the engines running
?

Re: orange battery light on dash mr2 turbo rev1
There should be a sensor that goes into it.
If this sensor is not plugged in then you will get that light.

Well this was the case on my old rev1 tubby.

Correct, usually happens when you change the original battery for a new one, no one ever puts the sensor back in, or the new battery can't physically take it.

Should be a screw in sensor, fairly obvious to find normally with a single wire going into it.
