Agree and apologies to Georgie for assuming the instructor was driving when she was

The SC was very keen to spin, but v.tricky to 'catch' and send into full drift - the instructor soon proved to me that it was possible, by swapping seats with me and doing a lovely circular full-on drift.
I had a few more goes, but nothing as good as him - but had a blast trying!
Jo, it looked really good from where I was watching! You can't expect to be as good as the instructor after only a few minutes at the wheel. I've got some pics, but unfortunately most taken of the far track are out of focus because I was using max zoom and no tripod will post them anyway.

I need to do some serious thinking...
Garrick, hope you're ok mate. Noticed you were a bit quiet. Don't let it make you ill - I know - been there, done that - got really ill.

Hi Georgie, welcome to the friendly forum. Sorry about spilling the beans on your faux pas on buzzez . I should have realised that it would have led to a torrent of abuse. Newbies eh

That's an understatement, shambolic would be a better description. But they were really friendly people and it was their first attempt at such an event.

Yes it was. Such a shame that no-one caught your perfect figure of 8 on video.
