I'll put you on the reserves but its only 20 as normally it's FOUR - as only one person on the course at a time - it's not an open pitlane day...

In all honesty and I think most will agree that at only £40 it is already cheap enough. Not only that, more people means less time out on track! You'll find most would be happy paying double the above amount to avoid this!

Any advice for race prep? I may not go now but Ive never been on track before do I bring a spare set of track racing pads? Mintex?

Check all your fluids and make sure they are ok. Dont worry about pads unless they are low anyway. Your not going to kill a set of brake pads at North Weald. I managed to kill a set of Toyo Proxies last time I went to North Weald. They just fell to bits from heat build up. My advice would be to take some spare tyres if yours are low or if you are really planning on some sideways action. Ive got a contact somewhere that ill try and dig out for a mobile tyre fitter who lives near North Weald. He reckons he will come out and fit tyres for £5 each if you supply. Or he can supply and fit. My girlfriend is coming down with me in her corsa so ill be chucking in my spare set of stock rims with tyres so I can stick them on and not worry about burning them out I wish I had taken spare tyres before because I had to stop early then drive home without getting caught. I only live about 10 miles away though.

Looks like I'll have to get a spare set of boots to bring up. Can't see me lasting a whole day on one set, AND getting back to Cardiff
