Not quite enough...

after alignment check im out by 1.4deg, so need a bolt with +-3deg. seen em around a while back but not now

in any case, he dont ship to uk i think

only 40mm, Think the main prob is slightly bent struts/arms.

is your camber visibly out or u doing it due to tyre wear? have u got camber results back?

i havent mate but i know mines gona be wrong as i have it lowered a little

thiers a guy braking up a rev2 in the for sale section, that may be of use and hes got struts/arms etc

bless, he still might be worth a shout might get a bargain, as using the camber bolts isnt the real solution to your problem? and the problem may crop up again, as long as your sure there are definately no mods on your susspension

just spoke to that bloke, he said 30-40 quid for the front and rear shocks, they will be comming off today

Is there no camber adjustment as standard on the MK2 then?

is this for both front and rear?

just seems odd, as the MK1 has adjustable camber all round.

nope mk2 2 only has caster adjustment, no camber front or rear

That seems a bit odd, but i wouldn't overly worry as camber control is pretty poor on McCrapson struts so its constanly changing under compression anyway.

So what does the static camber come out at front and rear?

on mine you mean?..ignore this if u didnt....

results were good on the front, -1deg on both.

back n/s was -1.3deg, not bad. but the offside was +1.3deg..needs sorting! i think -1deg of camber is the accepted level?

I was just talking generally about MK2s. If there is no camber adjustment then the camber is set, so just wondered what it should be?

So reading from this (correct me if i'm wrong) but if your camber is miles out this could only result from something being bent on the suspension couldn't it?

oem specs for mk2 camber are...

-1.2 to -0.2 deg front
-1.55 to -0.55 deg rear

so more agressive on the rear.

and yes, i believe the camber on my car is due to a shunt on a kerb or something. but i didnt do it!

been told it could be the subframe. as the legs and arms are fine...therefore camber bolts are a much cheaper option to try at this stage.

specs
front camber -1.75 to -0.25
rear camber -2.33 to -0.83

mine are front left -1.34
front right -1.03

rear left -2.02
rear right -1.26
