Engine built with
86.5 cp Pistons
Eagle rods

Planned bits to buy are
PWR chargcooler dependant on if I can fit it in the location I want
Borg Warner EFR Turbo Kit
1000cc ID injectors with fuel rail and 450lt/h fuel pump
Been recommended a 6puk clutch kit by the engine builders
ATS inlet manifold

Already running power fc before rebuild.

why 86.5mm pistons? the 'right' way to do it is to strip the block first then see if you can get away with a hone and 86mm pistons, you want to retain all the cyl wall thickness possible.

EFR turbo is interesting (in a good way), which one have you gone for? are you keeping the BW internal gate or going for an external gate(s) set up? are you going for a tubular manifold or an adapter plate?

What about these items, I'm not suggesting these are a must but worth considering? I'm sure someone else can comment.

Cams
Big end bearing
LSD
Upgraded drive Axle Cages
Engine mounts
Having good suspension and alignment

I'm guessing the rest of the engine will be built up to a decent spec and not just pistons and rods?

I'd add:
Uprated radiator to help with cooling.
Throttle body.
Exhaust manifold maybe?
Before doing all that I'd go round and check your bushes and joints are all good throughout full car and also get decent brakes and tyres.

Out of curiosity where are you planning on having your charge cooler?

When you say the rest of the engine?
It's got arp main and head bolts, arp bearings.
Got a mishimoto rad in already
Going to get a q45 tb
Exhaust manifold will be custom built by the tuners.
Is fully polybushed and new ball joints all round 6/7 years ago but has been off the road for 5 years.
Also got white line arbs
Koni shocks with eibach springs but have a set of hsd coilies to maybe go on.
Got 330m his pec brakes with a four pot caliper already on it aswell.

Would ideally like the barrel chargecooler core in the stock intercooler position, I was already running a gt4 core before the build so have pre rad and pipe work in place, although maybe altering this aswell.

Sorry meant to say 86.25 cp Pistons, the bores had slightly ovalised so needed a bit off.
I'd like to go external as I like that wastegate flutter you get.
Manifold made by the engine builders.

I'm unsure if the barrel will fit there, highly doubt mines would but it's a 6x10 boot mounted, plus the end part of the complete unit and you have the pipe work aswell (I've got pics on my build thread if you want to see it)
I can measure the total size of mines tomorrow for you if I make it to my unit :thumleft:

Delete your blowoff valve for flutter, not fit an external gate :thumleft:

I've measured my charge cooler for you, for the power you are chasing you would need a similar size to mines which the core itself is 6" diameter X 10" length, the length of the full unit is around 19" and with the pipes either side (mines have a 90degree bend so is probably the shortest) total length is around 28"...

Sorry to say it but even if you went for a slightly shorter length one it wouldn't fit in either side of vents.

Best off sticking it in the boot like mines or go for a different core but I don't think I'd like to stick a charge cooler right next to the exhaust manifold, i would put it on the opposite side with the intake :thumleft:
