A mate of mine works for a sister company and tends to know what's going on in terms of production at North One - he hadn't heard anything about this which makes me believe that it might be either a prank - or more likely something that was just in development but binned soon after.

The reply I had to my email was from someone called Jordan

He just said that he'd love to have a quick chat with me on the phone about my car

Quick chat :? I thought that was a rather odd thing to say

Disagree - emails tend to be quite informal especially for this kind of thing, and media production companies typically have quite a youthful workforce.

When I googled the phone number it cropped up in relevance to other TV shows, one was a fishing programme for example. So it's for real....mark my words. I've seen this a bit on bike forums but usually from magazines looking for a feature bike. It must happen with cars too. I've read a few stories from people that have been a bit dissapointed with their treatment during the process too. That's showbiz I guess.

It's all old hat to me, I took my 84 year old Dad to be in the audience of his, (not mine), favourite TV Game show "Pointless" with Alexander Armstrong a few months back \:D/

I'm probably too old school for things that happen in the 21st century :-k

I expect folk to behave formally and "properly"

Received an email from NorthOneTV yesterday

Apparently they have been inundated with applications (as we expected)

They have chosen two projects for a pilot program (don't know what make/model)

They say that my project is at the "top of the list" if they decide to run a series

If so then they will contact me again later

We shall see :-k
