Reluctantly selling my Rev 2 Turbo in astral Black

Imported by Platignum Securities on 13/08/03
Car was speedo converted at date of import with 65210km
Speedo now showing 106500 so has covered roughly 80 thou miles

Alarm : Toad Ai606 cat 1

Does have a little history including work undertaken by The garage that shall not be mentioned !

Got 3 toyota invoices for parts

2 rolling road graphs from AJEC Racing
Showing 258.4 hp

After 3 Months of owning the car it became clear that it was not running correctly and had a lot of crank pressure so the head was removed and the engine was found to be damaged beyond repair .

So the car has under gone a complete engine rebuild consiting of

Rev2 block, crank, rods & pistons 62k
Rev2 head , fully rebuilt with new guides , stem seals , and re lapped valves
Full Toyota gasket set
Rev3 steel headgasket
Gates timing belt kit and tensioner
New water pump and thermostats
And rebuilt by TB Auto Engineering ( not to be associated with xxxx ! )
Rebuilt ct26, adjustable actuator set at 0.8bar
Fully replaced ignition system inc coil, igniter, dizzy cap, rotor arm & ht leads
NJK iridium plugs
Full compression test done with 170-188 across all chambers
This engine is still being run in has only covered 160miles since the rebuild

Previous Modifications inc
HKS Air Filter
Intercooler and hard pipe kit (unbranded but fitted new)
Full custom exhaust by powerflow
Mbc not on car at the moment due to running in
Blitz 52mm boost gauge
Apexi dumpvalve setup to recirc
Tom's C7R 2 peice wheels 16" 8j front 9j rear these could do with a refurb
Rev3 rear light conversion

Car does have the usual age related marks and has a slight crack in the paint on the drivers wing were the light has rubbed the wing,

The car will be supplied with 12months Mot and 6months tax

I'm asking £2600 for the car as it is. the mileage will increase slightly as being used to add some mileage for the next oil change

I don't think the price is unreasonable - speaking from experience it takes a while to shift tin-tops as a lot of people only buy these cars for the T-bar. I've had three tin tops now and you just have to wait it out for someone who prefers handling over the wind in their hair

While I'm here - you could enhance your advert by clarifying if it has the LSD (check the frunk vin plate) and putting up a photo of the interior with that seat shown. I'd also suggest putting a picture of the drivers wing up, you mention it has a mark but don't show it. I'd also edit the title to mention the Toms alloys. Big selling point IMO.
