Good question. its a little battered now with this bad weather we have had. Some of the cross members need replacing

Once ive got the cross member replaced ill probably store it away till i need it coz its hard to find something like this everyday.

Great effort and youŕe attutude is spot on. You did it on the cheap and its a first attempt. It just goes to show why body shops charge so much, its not as easy as it looks.

I've got admiration for anyone willing to take on jobs like this themselves, as a nation we've become accustomed to thinking the only way is to hand over piles of cash for stuff, and have someone else do it. We've grown lazy.

Sure, a pro will obviously have done a better job, but the fact is you done a job that you (and the buyer, more importantly!) are happy with, and saved a pile of cash. Its a compromise, but shows that there are other options

Done a fair bit of DIY painting over the years, not done a full car in one hit yet though, my mr2 might be the first full car I do if I can be ar$ed!
