That's not bad and just consider what you started with. Look into compounding, possibly even wet sanding then polish.

But your braver than I 8)

Looks like a good job. Surprised you didn't get a pull for no front plate!

Good question. its a little battered now with this bad weather we have had. Some of the cross members need replacing ](*,) ](*,)

Once ive got the cross member replaced ill probably store it away till i need it coz its hard to find something like this everyday.

Great effort and youŕe attutude is spot on. :thumleft: You did it on the cheap and its a first attempt. It just goes to show why body shops charge so much, its not as easy as it looks.

Well done mate for having the nads to have a go.

I've got admiration for anyone willing to take on jobs like this themselves, as a nation we've become accustomed to thinking the only way is to hand over piles of cash for stuff, and have someone else do it. We've grown lazy.

Sure, a pro will obviously have done a better job, but the fact is you done a job that you (and the buyer, more importantly!) are happy with, and saved a pile of cash. Its a compromise, but shows that there are other options :)

Done a fair bit of DIY painting over the years, not done a full car in one hit yet though, my mr2 might be the first full car I do if I can be ar$ed!

Well done mate!
