Great work and lovely looking car, same as my first 2. Must be honest and say I prefer the existing alloys but got to admire your skill. Think I would get myself a set of original wheels and use your skills to diamond cut them.

Cheers Guys! yeah each to there own on the alloys. I like them for there style and the where made in eighties Have seen a few of them diamond tips at work lol Teardrops do look very nice done like that but I like a little bit of dish to my wheels tbh.

OK so the issue I had with a knocking up front I have diagnosed as "coil slap"
very common issue apparently with progressive springs and i can clearly see the coils have been touching! Have some silencer sleeves to fit to help with some of the noise> Off comes the fronts again to fit it! Then some 4 wheel alignment needed.

Have this Katana sword handle handle arriving soon to see if I can turn it into a shift knob, just for shows etc.

Saw that yesterday what a shocker! Lucky PI springs are not like that, only getting a twang noise over speed bumps really.

Phewww no more clunking sounds and geo all set now. Very happy driver now the car is like brand new again Caster angle did not print out but was the same both sides on the front.

Was there a problem adjusting the rear camber?

Yeah I think He struggled getting that one into tolerance using the snail cams, does that mean something else is causing an issue there then?!

It's usually possible to get both sides equal.

It might be worth having a look at your bushes, top mounts, ball joints and suspension links just to check that everything is true.

That is different. A lot of the drifters seem to favour these long gearsticks. Do you think it helps or hinders the gear change though?

Also steering wheel cover.

I say hinder as I drilled a load if the inards out so I won't be using it for road driving.

Leather wheel is a bit squeaky puts me off ma driving. Cover will keep the wheel looking good for a while, but yeah bit xxxx in it lol.

Not a huge update or amount of work going on here, but i will put up some pics all the same everyone likes pics right..

Bought an extra set of lights and rear panel to try this on. Going for a smooth look with deleting the original number plate lights and fitting some bolt lights instead to metal import size license plate which is on order, also going for a red tint on the orange indicators/reverse light with amber LED bulbs and load resistors. Extra reverse light being fitted under the bumper, not that you have to for the MOT!

All the lettering gone now..


Needs more fill and sand, not my favourite job in the world


Know I now I said the outside of the car wouldn't change too much, however I just love my cars low and very wide! I had these arches from a previous build, they are spun aluminium from an air con inlet duct!





If that ^ ever did happen I would sell the OZ Turbines in favour of some 13" x 10J wheels to fill those dang big arches

So this looks likely to be happening! Scored these arches from a company called ala-plast in Poland, made from ABS plastic and really a good fit without to much trimming. Have been in contact with the suppliers of Revolution wheels and after some measuring they confirmed for me there 13" race wheel will just fit over the rear calipers.
