3sge over fueling and miss fire

Post by adzmr2 »

Ok so my engine is running, but

Its overfueling like a "censored"

So far i've replaced the coil, leads dizzy cap and rota arm, plugs and temp sensors

Still the same

Where do i go next?

There seams to be quite low vacuum as in pull a pipe off and hardly anything sucking, so wondering if this is causing the map to pump in more fuel?

Or could it be a dodgy injector? Im getting no fault codes unless i disconnect the vac to the map

Help, i need to get an mot :crybaby:

My engine is a combo of rev4 block, rev2 head and rev3 inlet and throttle body

For vacuum, Google will throw up a lot of stuff. Perhaps the most useful bit of kit are the mityvac alikes (also good for bleeding brakes, starting syphons, etc.). This

is cool.

But timing?

How do you know, exactly, that it's running rich?

What ECU and Injectors are you using?

Are the plugs black when you pull them?
