All the non turbos had oem kyb dampers apart from the anniversary models.
You can get the std na dampers from tcbparts pretty cheap, but I wouldnt use them with lowering springs I dunno how long theyd last.

How low is the car sat on the Apex springs? Any pics? If the car is lowered too much it may be bottoming out on the bump stops, which makes for a very uncomfortable ride.
I use black Bilstein dampers, with Eibach Pro springs and 16" wheels, gives a good balance between ride comfort and handling.
