Vinyl wrap... anyone done a whole mk1?

As i said though Finn it is a major ballache doing it.

the water transfer thing definitly looks like a ballache but plastidip is something completely different and too be honest couldn't look much more easy to do.You barely have to prep the car and masking is minimal.

Paint wise though it is not cheap stuff, 5 litres is about £90, and i think i would probably need to get at least 7.5 litres.

Got to consider it though, £150 for a finish is a lot cheaper than 10x (or more) for a respectable paint finish. It's relatively speaking cheap

I fancy buying a dog of a car just to try that 50 dollar paint job trick

What loopy unattractive products. Why not whack a couple of rolls of woodchip over your car instead - £10.00 tops and you can repaint it with a sheepskin roller in 30 minutes.

I can see a market for some of this old tosh though - condoms in a can springs to mind.
