didnt get the O2 sensor either, do I need it? all the parts are at my lockup been building a track car for longer than I can remember,..

Alan the more info the better if you could go to the trouble of doing that I would be grateful, I did research it on here but that was 6 months ago& my memory's like a sieve

Well apart from saving you around£100 for the loom and the ball ache of taking it off and fitting the rev3 one.
You just need to run a couple of wires to the ECU.
You'll also need to make a plate for the AIT sensor.
I can take a pic of my engine thats had the conversion done using the REV2 enine loom
