I'll try and back the charger out the garage for a phoyo of that tomorrow

Ours is in the same place, works well on a mk1a bumper, not so good on a mk1b.

This was an advisory on my recent MoT

"Front number plate bit difficult to read"

(Because it's tilted back a little at the bottom)

Seems very picky when compared with some I've seen

Plus this position where the plate is wedged up by the bumper bracket (the original bracket snapped). Pic of the famous Yummy, with a certain Stripey behind!

Yummy looked very good in that pic Lauren

Am I correct in thinking she's now gone to the great Toyota playground in the sky ?

Yes, Peter, back on 9th November 2002 and Yummy was a 'he', I could never have a car that was a girl!:

The infamous 'lampost' incident:

The front crumple zone is impressive Lauren :thumleft:

And by t'looks of things you stepped out of the car unscathed ?

Just thought "Yummy" sounded kinda feminine :)

Shame, that incident spoiled a nice car

But you were OK, that's the main thing

Just had some pretty bad whiplash, not that you can tell by the photo taken the next day. Mark had some bruising to his shins where his legs connected with the underside of the dashboard.

Impact must have been somewhere near 50mph.

Must have been very frightening Lauren

Good job the impact was in the middle of the front rather than onto one of the subframe legs i think

Been there myself, and it's not a nice feeling. Even though it's so long ago, my thoughts go out to you both just thinking about it. Poor Yummy.
