leverage...y'know extension bars etc...slow but steadily increase the pulling power...leave it and come back tmrw with a fresh head on...sounds like you got the tools but some jobs are just a pain.
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] replacing my ct26 with a ct20b

Are you using a twelve sided socket or a six sided one?
Re: [Mk2] [Turbo] replacing my ct26 with a ct20b
need a deep 14mm socket for the mani to head bolts....better than using a spanner on those.
you should be able to get a socket over them all.

i was only using a socket on the manifold , the deep ones where 6 i think barrowed them from amate ,, to be honest the nuts are wrecked now trying to tap on the bolt removal things .. not sure wot else todo now,, my mate surgested welding on a washer then a bolt but dont think theres enough room to weld under tha manifold its pretty tight . im all outta ideas wasthinking about cuting a line in the stud with a drimmel and then trying a flat headed screw driver

thats wot i used ,, i smacked them on ,,pulled slowly and u could feel it cut in and then it would slip off and there would be bits of metal off the nut ,,kept trying for hours ,, have no idea wot else to do ,,
my mate surgested welding on a washer and then a nut but dont think theres room todo that

By the sounds of it you're only going to make things worse. There are ways to deal with these things. I say take it to a pro before you make a real mess!
