Mine are 17x8 et35 front with 215/40
17x9 et38 rear with 245/35

Edit: Koni shocks in stock rebuildables with Tein springs. No rubbing, even on full lock etc.

Few pics (not the best) to show fitment:

I'd prob go for a narrower & shallower front tyre... 215/40 or something. 45% of 225 is quite a bit chunkier looking than the 40 on a 215 for some reason, didn't think there would be much in it. But smaller tyres will definately help.

jings that's really touching on the fronts lol. 235x40 is approx 6mm shorter so er might clear lol. Ach it'll wear the tyre down to fit and not the strut. Will need to massage the wing though..

cheers for the pic, appreciated :thumleft:

235/40 on an ET35 8J 17" wheel will still foul the spring cup. My BBS LMs were that size up front and came with 235/40 and rubbed.

aye not a cheap mistake. I know folks in the US forums have 235/40's up front and it's close, really close but it varies between brands. I'll have a look at altering the cup shape ;)

is that torch marks I see hehe? I'm guessing the cup won't compress as it's a rigid suspension part however might the tyre expand out wards (up the way) at speed?

it may do...i ill have to wait and see, i dont think there is much more room to be had from that area :pale:

a torch to heat the metal up and then jacked out by 2-3mm :-k

worst ways ill have to move down a tyre size but i would rather keep them as they are as its cheaper and i would like a larger sidewall for these xxxx roads round ere
