the rev 3 fuel rail wont fit but the 540cc injectors should drop straight into your rev 2 rail

no, the distances are totally different, if you want more flow you can bore the stock rail out, or buy an aftermarket, ihave a wolfkatz top feed with 1000cc injectors

bored out rail or aftermarket is your only option aside from just dropping in the 540s into your present rail.

I have not hot the injectors yet

the injectors will fit in the rail with no issues.

the injectors dont
"fit" in the head, they fit in the rail, and the rail attachs to the head.

ideally id get the rail bored tho if going for bigger injectors and more power.
.
.
.they suffer from pressure drop across the rail especially with an uprated fuel pump.

I wouldnt put 540cc in a stock rev1/2 rail, pressure drop it pants on them and they flow crap too

I had 800's in my stock rev 2 rail, and it ran fine, although I wasn't really using the 800 part of the injector.
iirc they were running about 50% duty, which is about stock for a rev 2
(half of 800
)
