92 MKII GTS REV 3 conversion **Must Go by 9 August**

Post by PFrazier »

Car must go by 9 August, I am leaving the country

£2000

92 GTS T-top REV 3 conversion Factory LSD
PW/PDL/Turning fogs
Approx 117k miles on car
MOT until Sept 2010. Car had zero issues at last MOT
Taxed until Feb 2011

Car is in good condition overall with no major body damage, paint work is in pretty good condition for its age and polishes up well.
Interior in very good shape, recently replaced door lever bezels, door switch bezels and ash tray.
Drivers seat bottom has a small section where the stitching has been worn and the bolster shows usual wear. Carpets in good condition and include man in dandism mats.

Car has been gargaged the entire time I have owned it and I believe the prior owner garaged it all the time. Car has been driven very little in the past year, as I was out of the country alot. It was never my daily driver, only taken out on nice days.

Regular oil/filter changes. I have always run synthetic with toyota filters
Will include new NGK plugs and new in box front/rear OEM brake pads. Will also toss in a new OEM oil filter

Recently replaced drivers window regulator and drivers body side t-top seals. Both were brand new OEM parts.

I have access to a car lift and buyers can inspect the car if desired

At approx 90k miles the following was performed:
Headgasket replaced, with a 1mm cometic multilayed STEEL headgasket.
ARP head studs
New idler bearings, new cambelt, new turbo and head/block gaskets
New 13ltrs werth of forlife coolent
New hose from hell installed, new thermostat, new oil cooler gaskets...
Then comes the head!
Fully cleaned, skimmed, relapped, reshimmed to take a rev3 inlet camshaft, new cam seals, new valve stem seals...
Fully cleaned and painted engine bay.
Removed TVIS and TVSV components

Power

Full speed density conversion (rev3 spec), so ditched afm, 540 injectors, rev3 ignitor, map sensor, ait sensor and mat sensor.
Was previously mapped on a Apexi Power FC running 301.4bhp, 290lb of torque at 1.2bar. But I have removed the PFC and installed a OEM REV 3 ECU in its place
Ct20b, very little shaft play, done I believe around 80k miles.
Apexi filter, extremeboost downpipe
HKS exhaust
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Greddy IC with one piece Berk cold pipe, Berk hump hoses. Spal fan and shroud
Greddy Profec Spec B boost controller
Painted engine bay with red hoses

Wheels and Suspension
Rota slipstream, 7.5 and 8.5 staggered setup, running on toyo T1Rs tyres, all plenty of life left in there, 215/40 and 245/40.
pi -40mm springs
Rtock struts front and Tokico adjustables in the rear

Bodywork
Greddy copy skirts and front lip from rogue systems (lip has a couple of underneath scraps), and a few stone chips here and there on the lip and skirts.
Rev5 OEM sidelights
Rev2 lights with full 4 lightup mod.
FULLY colour coded sidestripes and T-bar edges

Interior
Momo wheel, leather seats and door panels. Swapped in black headliner, t-top shades and sunvisors, Omori boost gauge installed in gauge cluster.

Security
A pager LEA 826 alarm, remote start, remote headlight, turbo timer.
bonnet, boot, door sensors

The bad bit. Recently the motor has started to rattle on cold starts. It seems to be coming from head area. I had the car down at 3S for James to inspect the motor, he said he was 100% confident that the noise is top end related. They drained and filtered the oil and found zero contamination. He suggested that shimming the oil pump may fix the rattle, or the valve clearances are excessive, but I haven't had time to have it looked at again

Loads of info from prior owner: http://www.imoc.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=98859

Recent pics (Berk Exhaust and REV 3 lights have been swapped since this)

I was looking at those pics thinking "is that Jims car"

Ubber cheap this, I'd say worth every penny looking at it. The problem doesnt sound like an expensive fix at all for what the car is.

If you fancy breaking it, I'd be interested in the shell and kit. Should be fairly easy to shift the engine and other bits.

Fair enough. It would be a real shame to do so in all honesty. Just thought I'd offer up the option seeing as I need a shell :thumleft:

Ha, when you said best offer takes the car, I don't think you were talking about the £700 I have raised for sorting a shell and servicing my engine

Man I've just realised... if I could sell my rear clip quick enough, I could buy your car. If I sold it and this went though, I'd be left in a mess!

Thanks
I priced it to sell fast, I'm surprised there wasn't more interest.
I believe it will be picked up tomorrow.
