What I would like is, if they replace the 360 for all the games and hardware to work on the new one.

Then I can keep all my guitar hero games and the HD DVD drive and use them with a new one.

I already have a PS3 and 360 which is more than I ever really wanted. If I have to keep the 360 a new one would be out of the question really.

more like 10.

dont think well see a new xbox untill 2011 or 12 and even then they will continue to support the 360.

My point exactly: Announce it this Q4, release in the US Q4 2010, and release here Q2 2011.

I'm just worried about how we'll transfer over RockBand DLC to a new console, as I really don't want to be paying for all that again...

I put that in another post as a joke :D (but you never know) :clown:

GT5P was supposed to have a host private/friends races and car damage patches before crimbo that seem to have been swept under the carpet for now, There's speculation that the PSP (will it/won't it happen) version could actually make an appeance before GT5 PS3 so 2010 at the earliest is looking like a safe bet.

and i was merely continuing your joke.

get a good rumour going lol.

There's a new one out, Race Driver Pro or something?

Read a review in the currant bun yesterday. Said the graphics arent super duper and the sounds arent great but the game play is apparently super realistic. Especially for the anal people that actually want to tinker with suspension settings and stuff.

Think its just tradition now to announce a launch date at each media event lol.

Hope they do finally shift it. Its about bloody time.

Thats great if you also have 2k to spunk on a new TV.

Sony are pushing the 3d thing way too early. Not saying the console shouldnt be ready but Killzone 3 is being built for 3d.

How many people are gonna have a 2k TV by spring next year?

Sony are playing the long game with the PS3, the fact that hardly anyone has a 3D tv now doesn't matter one jot to them, because they know that the uptake will rise in time, just like it did with HD.

Just as people moved from CRT to LCD when their old tele died, some people will move from LCD to LCD3D when their current LCD tv karks it, and it's likely to be gamers who do.

I know a couple of people who are about to get a 3D tv and the prices arent taht bad.

Must be a fair few people round the country thinking "Do I get the whopping Plasma for the toy room or do I reduce the size a fraction and get a 3D instead?"

Ok I maybe missing the point here but surely if you have a tv/monitor capable 120hz then you can have 3D....
