Anyone know when Gran Turismo 5 is coming out proper??

I cant get GT4 to work on my PS3 (not online to download stuff) so need my fix of good driving games soon

Just downloaded the Theme. Tbh, i won't expect much more than that. Sony, massive let down with this game. Funny how many people bought the ps3 almost entirely based on this game...

I bought my PS3 for this game, feel rather let down tbh.

The only really good game ive played on this console was GTA IV.

Given that they seem to be content releasing DLC for Prologue, I'd almost be surprised now to see this on PS3. If it does turn up, expect a release date approx. 9 months after the Jap one, so I'm going to hazard a guess here at Q3/Q4 2010 for us.

to get ps2 network features to work on the ps3 u need the ps2 network access disk from that came with the ps2 network adapter

Forza is so big I never got to actually finish all the races, that would have taken some serious dedication.

It was?! Loved Forza2, so the sequel will be one the very few games I'd buy before knowing anything about it. It always felt far easier to balance a car on the throttle in Forza, which I see as a good thing as that means they conveyed the sense of balance better than Polyphony did with GT4/5P. I finished all the races, but it took me a good year on and off and I'm nowhere near owning all the cars.

I too bought my PS3 solely for GT5 and SingStar, but now it's just a glorified BD player mostly gathering dust under my telly.

What's the betting that we see Forza 3 before GT5?

I dont get what's holding up GT5 tbh. Is it that Sony are being so anal in an attempt to make the perfect game that they're never actually going to do it?

most games from sonys devs seem to take 3 times longer than your normal game.

i think GT5 has been in development even longer than killzone had been.

maybe they only work weekends.

In fairness, I'd never heard of KillZone 2 until the other week when people were raving about it on here. DL'ed the demo, it was ok, I might pick it up on ebay when it's a bit cheaper. If people have been waiting ages for it though I feel they'll be let down.

I'd guess that Forza 3 won't turn up on the current gen XBox though, assuming that MS stick to their 5-year plan and announce the successor to the 360 late this year.

MS have never had a 5 year plan for this round.

dont think well see a new xbox untill 2011 or 12 and even then they will continue to support the 360.

GT5P was supposed to have a host private/friends races and car damage patches before crimbo that seem to have been swept under the carpet for now, There's speculation that the PSP (will it/won't it happen) version could actually make an appeance before GT5 PS3 so 2010 at the earliest is looking like a safe bet.
