[Mk2] [NA] Looking for a FPR recommendation -3SGE
Just doing some homework at the moment. My gen 4 3SGE is kicking out somewhere near 220Bhp (fly) at the moment but I think I'm finally going to fit my itb's. Speculating at the moment but another 15-20Bhp is probably feasible with the set-up fitted.
I might need an aftermarket uprated FPR -anyone got any ideas for a reasonably priced suitable one, say one suitable for 3SGE up to 240Bhp (not sure exactly how it works with sizing these).
Got a few long trips to make next week and I can look at my injector duty cycle through my Link Display to see whether one is going to be needed or not. If I need one I can pick it up ahead of fitting them to save time later on.
Anyone explain to me the relationship between % loading and pulse width as I can see both of those? Sticks in mind that injectors want to be somewhere near 80% capacity to work properly?
Thanks

I have a Sytec rising rate one.
Aeromotive do a few also, might be worth looking at them?

I personally have been looking at the SARD Fuel Pressure Regulators for my build.
They seem to have a good rep and a wide enough pressure capability.

would be fine on an FSE, SBD have been using them for years without issue on N/A applications

There's a very good reason for that

I agree with you, as long as it doesn't burst from use it should be okay.

But why are they a waste on an N/A?
An N/A requires more careful thinking at the least than a turbo, requires more accuracy than a turbo ever needs.
