(I dont really want to as I like the shape and performance so much, but they are getting old and wont last forever).There is not a lot out there to compete with it on the road in terms of looks and performance that doesnt cost mega bucks
(and I dont like the look of scoobys and evos). The mr2 seems to be very underated by drivers of most other cars until they come up against a healthy mr2 turbo.All the more reason to keep our tubbys going.
So I was thinking, if the various MR2 owners clubs got together and told Toyota there is a market for a performance car like the MR2 turbo
(with mk2 rev3 onwards good looks and aerodynamic styling) rather than all this nanny state slow and flat fronted encap safety stuff, would they put it something like a modernised mk2 tubby back into production?It might also help keep parts in good supply for our old cars.
I know Toyota are looking into doing something with Subaru, but it doesnt look as pretty as an mr2 mk2
(rev3 onwards) and doesnt have as much power as a tubby 
Do you think they would listen if there was some way we could tell Toyota Japan?
I could not find a "suggestions" or "contact us" link on their website.Got to be worth a try!
